The most persuasive proof of the advantages of Interlingua for communication without borders is not long articles with a lot of argment. No, the most persuasive proof is to use Interlingua—to show it in practice.

When the Romanian radio interviewed me at the Interlingua conference in 1999, the journalist asked me explicitly to speak Interlingua--and to not have a translation. She, who fifty minutes ago had not heard of Interlingua at all, understood me immediately.

So why use up the time of readers and magazines to describe what Interlingua is. Demonstrate it! An example in Interlingua is worth more than a thousand words describing it.

It is a proof of true communication without borders when people who do not know Interlingua at all understand it at first glance. A person who had bought some books in Interlingua for the first time wrote:

“I recently discovered Interlingua and can see that it is a language capable of expressing all the nuances of human thought with a richness comparable to national languages’”.

Note that the philosophy of “Interlingua multilingue” is to demonstrate Interlingua and its source languages in clear and practical contexts of communication. It has been designed in this way to be of maximum usefulness for students of Interlingua and its source languages. There are now more than 700 rather brief articles to help such students, and I am going to continue preparing other similar articles for this site.
